Today comes the patch with the next faction play phase. See here: PATCH NOTESWith this comes many new stuff affecting the unit. 1) Will the unit stay loyal to the FRR (No question in my opinion, but i might err) 2) Unit recruitment costs: Since the unit is above 450 members by now, every new member will cost 10 million C-Bills paid by the unit coffers. I have no idea about the amount of inactive accounts in the unit, but this might be a substantial number. WILL we or CAN we even sort out who once played with us, and doesn't want to right now? If we want to, how can we locate the inactive accounts? As far as i know the game itself has no "seen" function. We could make an e.g. weekly login in the forums mandatory, and who doesn't log in for a couple of weeks will be considered inactive. Something like that. Or maybe, we say that we anyways will never be less than 200 members and we take no action in this matter. anyways, i am courious how the new community warfare will be after the patch.

other option is break the unit into smaller regiments 4 of 100, etc. each remaining loyal to the -SO- cause

It is not 10000000 after 200 or more members, but 50000 per member, so new members cost over 22000000 now! So asking Russ for the list of inactive members would be a start. 1stH use last login at the forum to notice inactivity, but removing some to save some bucks and then adding some of those again later would be expensive, too. To get an idea of our activity: In December 2015 we had 148 (of then 377) members playing in the CW event: mwomercs.com/news/2015/12/1434-battle-tukayyid-stats-part-2

I indeed read only the table, not the line above, so you're right with the cost of members*50k.
Breaking up in several smaller units is a no-go in my opinion. We should stay as one unit, but we should get rid of the players not playing anymore, irrespective if they are playing public games, community warfare or both.

If everyone pays "dues" in C-Bills, this might not be a problem. I don't know how you'd decide on a flat rate, but here's an idea: At the end of your next match, take a screenshot of your winnings. Donate the winnings of that one match. AND Theaus (or someone) makes a list of who donates. (Leadership can decide if they want members to spam the forum with their screenshots. ) Anyone not on that list is apparently inactive. If they want to rejoin later, they can apply.
